Principal investigator of a grant project funded by the National Park Service of the United States, to reconstruct Holocene environments associated with an archaeological site on Little Takli Island, southern Alaska

Co-Investigator (with Ian Barnes, RHUL Biological Sciences) of ancient DNA from Late Pleistocene beetle remains from Alaska and the Yukon Territory

Co-investigator (with Nick Branch, University of Reading), in project to reconstruct Holocene environments of the Irish midland region, funded by Bord na Móna (Ireland)
