How to Apply
We welcome applications for the MA in Cultural Geography (Research) from suitably qualified applicants. Many of our students have had first degrees from outside of Geography, including Architecture, Landscape Design and Literature, and we actively encourage this interdisciplinary culture in the degree. Our normal entry requirement is an upper second class degree or international equivalents.
We strongly encourage applicants to discuss the programme with us, and if possible to visit us at Royal Holloway.
The course has a strong track record in gaining Research Council Funding for students (for example in 2005-6 four of our students were funded by the ESRC) and other bursaries are also available. Applicants who are interested in Research Council studentships should contact the Director by the end of February at the latest for September entry.
Contact Professor Claudio Minca: Claudio.Minca@rhul.ac.uk.
or our postgraduate administrators GeogPGadmin@rhul.ac.uk for more details and to arrange a visit.
You can find much more detail about funding opportunities and the application procedures on this site.
