The full time course begins in September each year and runs for one calendar year. Students will take all three compulsory elements of the course, including Theory, policy and practice, Research training and the Dissertation.

The part-time course begins in September each year and runs for two calendar years. Students will normally take the Theory, policy and practice element in the first year and the Research training and Dissertation in the second year. However, there is flexibility in this model depending on student’s work commitments.
This course allows students to work and study at the same time and is an excellent option for students with work/financial/family commitments and for those looking to gain some work experience in the development and environment field.

The PG Diploma course begins in September each year and runs until the end of March. This course is comprised of the Theory, policy and practice and Research training elements.
This course is an excellent option for students who are looking for some continuing professional development (CPD) in the field of development and environment, and allows students to either continue working or carry out part-time work while studying.
