Two new British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowships have been awarded to the Department tenable in 2009-10, as follows:

Sara Fregonese (Newcastle University): 'The urbicide of Beirut: geographical perspectives on war and cities' (mentor: Prof Klaus Dodds)

Amanda Rogers (Royal Holloway): 'Geographies of Transnational Theatrical Creativity' (mentor: Prof Philip Crang)
