Visualising Geography

A creative research project funded by an Arts and Humanities Research Board Innovation Award

Visualising Geography was a creative research project funded by an Arts and Humanities Research Board Innovation Award. It was devised and developed by Felix Driver, Catherine Nash and Kathy Prendergast, and curated by Ingrid Swenson.

The project explored the nature of cross-disciplinary collaboration and the points of connection and difference between visual art and academic geography. It involved a work in progress exhibition, under the title landing, in the Department of Geography at Royal Holloway in June and July 2002. A series of workshops and collaborative meetings involving geographers and artists took place between February and November 2002.

The project is documented in the landing website and in a publication
